I’ve tried my share of Indonesian restaurants, and It’s not often that you run into authentic Indonesian cuisine around the streets of LA. With a variety of “mom & pop home cooked” recipes in their menu, Mr. Sate delivers to us that real Indonesian flavor we’ve been longing for all this time!

Mr. Sate is AWESOME. I come here once or twice every week. Have tried almost everything on their menu.
My biggest recs are the Soto Mie, Soto Ayam, Balado Bowl and the Lontong Sate. I love that the restaurant is family-owned too, adds a lot more love to the place and my desire to keep supporting them.
